Rabbi Daniel Stein is a creative spiritual leader who is committed to building dynamic, spiritually engaged communities. Before joining Congregation B’nai Shalom in August of 2016, Rabbi Stein served as the rabbi of Bnai Abraham Synagogue in Easton, Pennsylvania, and served on the faculty of Lafayette College. Ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary, Rabbi Stein also completed a master’s degree in Jewish literature with a concentration in Yiddish there. As a student, Daniel served as the Legacy Heritage Foundation Rabbinic Fellow at Congregation Shomrei Torah in Tallahassee, Florida and was an assistant rabbi at Temple Sinai in Middletown, New York. While at JTS, Daniel was awarded prizes in theology and Jewish thought.
