Modern Hebrew IV Evening (Spring)

This course was offered in Winter/Spring, 2017.

Increase proficiency by learning more advanced vocabulary and how grammar influences meaning. Topics include shoreshim (word roots), the future tense, binyanim (verb forms) and idioms. Class takes place mostly in Hebrew and uses basic native Hebrew sources to discuss wide ranging topics, including current events and Israeli culture.

Instructors

Niri Zach

Niri Zach Niri Zach was born in Israel and worked as a journalist for 20 years. She came to the U.S. in 2000, and taught Hebrew on the East Coast. Niri loves to teach adults and children Hebrew, Israeli songs, and Israeli culture. She also teaches cooking classes at the JCCSF, and loves yoga, meditation, and travel (has traveled to 56 different countries). She has two sons and one grandson.
