Beginning Modern Hebrew (Spring)
This class is for individuals beginning to understand the Hebrew alphabet, grammar and vocabulary. The third part of a year-long Beginning Hebrew sequence, this class is open to new students provided they consult with the instructor before signing up.
Required text: Hebrew from Scratch, available at Afikomen Judaica.

Instructors
Rachel Valfer began learning Hebrew and Tanach at age 5. She lived in Israel for 6 years, where she studied Hebrew and Ladino literature at the graduate level at the Hebrew University. Rachel is a professional musician in classical and folk music of the Middle East.
