Explore the rich history of Jews in present-day Iran, Afghanistan, Bukhara, and other Central Asian countries. These communities date back to late antiquity, when they mingled with ancient Zoroastrians, and have left their unique mark on Jewish history from the writing of the Talmud up to today.
