"If Not Now, When?" The Legacy of the House of Hillel
Using Joseph Telushkin's new biography of Hillel (due out September 2010) as the catalyst for text study and discussion, this series offers an in-depth exploration of the iconic religious leader whose approach to ethics and law had a profound influence on the evolution of Judaism and Christianity over the last 2000 years. This course is being offered in preparation for an appearance by Rabbi Joseph Telushkin at the Osher Marin JCC on Sunday, November 7, 2010, for the Global Day of Jewish Learning.
