Introduction to the Jewish Experience Part I: God & Jewish Lifecycle

This course is no longer offered.

Jews express our faith more by “doing” than by “believing.” Jewish lifecycle celebrations and rituals express the relationship of the Jew to the world, and Jewish understandings of the Holy. This course will explore Jewish concepts of God and the world as they are expressed through the experiences of Jewish lifecycle events.

This class is the first part of a three-unit class. The other two units will take place in the winter and spring of 2011, at Congregation Beth El.

Please visit the website jexperience.wordpress.com that Rabbi Adar has set up for this class.
