Hebrew in One Day
This course is no longer offered.
This course will introduce you to the aleph-bet, vowels, and essential pronunciation and sight-reading skills. This is a perfect beginning for studies that will lead to reading comprehension.
Continue your studies with Beginning Hebrew 1A in the winter and Beginning Hebrew 1B in the spring. Students who sign up for all three classes will be refunded the amount for this Hebrew in One Day starter class.
Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided. Please bring a bag lunch.

Jehon Grist
Jehon Grist, Ph.D., is Executive Director of Lehrhaus Judaica. He earned his doctorate in Near Eastern Studies from UC Berkeley, where he was a Regents' Fellow. He has conducted field research in Israel, the Gaza Strip, and the Valley of the Queens in southern Egypt.
