Todd Gitlin

Todd Gitlin is the bestselling author of The Sixties: Years of Hope, Days of Rage and more than ten other books, chiefly on media. He holds degrees in mathematics, political science and has a Ph.D. in sociology from Berkeley. Gitlin is a professor at The Journalism School at Columbia University and a prominent social commentator and media critic.
