Courses by instructor: Rudolph Herzog

Rudolph Herzog

Rudolph Herzog, son of celebrated filmmaker Werner Herzog, is co-creator of the BBC series The Heist in 2004, and a BBC film in 2006 about popular jokes aimed at Nazis. This later became the subject of his newly-translated book, Dead Funny: Humor in Hitler’s Germany, a revealing reexamination of the history of joke-telling during the Third Reich.
