Rebecca Spence

Rebecca Spence is an award-winning writer and journalist. She was a New York staff writer for the Forward, the national Jewish newspaper, before becoming its West Coast correspondent. These days, she contributes to Tablet magazine and teaches creative writing workshops in Berkeley. Rebecca has written for Elle, ARTnews, and New York magazine, among others. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Bennington College, and is currently at work on her first novel.
