Gregory Newmark

Gregory Newmark is a Ph.D. Candidate in City and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley and a co-founder of the East Bay Minyan. His preferred approach to dissertation avoidance is to explore engaging topics in Judaism. He has taught two semesters for the program in Jewish Studies at CAL and nine semesters for Berkeley Midrasha. Most recently, through Lehrhaus Judaica, he is moving into the exciting, but awkwardly titled world of "adult" education.
